John Lopez launched his real estate journey in 2001, starting with an extraordinary opportunity—managing the sale and renovation of over 1,000 properties for one of the largest real estate investors in the San Antonio area. The $20 million portfolio (now valued at over $60 million) included land, single-family homes, and multifamily units. John led the charge in listing, managing, and coordinating a large rehab team to maximize property values before sale.

In 2003, John earned both his Real Estate Broker license and Mortgage Broker license, launching High Point Mortgagein San Antonio. With a passion for delivering results and a commitment to clear communication, he built a thriving referral-based business that consistently sees 80% purchase volume. Today, he co-leads High Point Mortgage with his wife, Erica Lopez, the company’s President.

In June 2024, John became a key partner in the acquisition of Texas Title Assurance, a San Antonio-based title company. This expansion allows him to offer realtors, builders, developers, and clients a comprehensive and seamless transaction experience, covering mortgage, real estate, and title services under one aligned vision. His goal is to simplify the modern homebuying and selling process while bringing unmatched value to every transaction.

John is also a dedicated mentor and high-level coaching student of The Core Training, a national coaching program for top-performing lenders and real estate professionals. He actively trains his team and guides referral partners while educating customers every step of the way.

Outside the office, John is a devoted husband, proud father of three, and an active member of his church community. He serves with the ACTS community and has contributed to several leadership roles within The Lovestrong Marriage Ministry.
